Why I Created this site — People, Technology & Projects

# Why I Created Mauro Neto — People, Technology & Projects

For many years, most of my professional journey happened within organisations, teams and projects. I worked with technology, contributed to the development and support of digital solutions, managed projects, worked with different teams and, above all, learned that building something meaningful goes far beyond technology.

That desire to **build, share and leave a mark** is what led me to create MauroNeto.com.

## More Than a Portfolio

I didn't want to create just another website with my CV.

I wanted to create a space that could show the things that normally don't fit into a résumé: the projects I build, the ideas I explore, what I'm learning and, most importantly, the person behind the professional.

Technology is an important part of my journey, but it doesn't define everything about me.

I'm also someone who enjoys exploring ideas, creating products, solving problems and understanding how an idea can become a real solution.

MauroNeto.com is, therefore, a kind of **digital home** where I can bring all of these things together.

## People

Behind every project, there are people.

Throughout my career, I've learned that a good technological solution can be important, but the people who imagine it, build it, use it and help it evolve are even more important.

That's why I also want this space to have a personal dimension.

I want to share my interests, hobbies, the things that inspire me and some of the moments of my life outside work.

Because I believe that a professional should not be defined only by the position they hold.

There is always a story behind the role.

## Technology

Technology has always been an important part of my journey.

I started by working directly with systems and applications, moved into the development and support of digital solutions and, over the years, took on increasing responsibilities in project management and delivery.

Today, I remain deeply interested in technology, but also in everything happening around it: artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital products, automation and new ways of building businesses on the Internet.

I don't want to simply follow these changes.

I want to experiment.

I want to build.

And whenever possible, turn an idea into something that people can actually use.

## Projects

One of the main reasons I created this website is to have a place where I can showcase what I build.

Some projects start from a real problem. Others simply begin with an idea that I want to explore.

One example is **Ganda Mestre**, a platform designed to connect people with professional service providers in Angola.

Projects like this allow me to bring together many of the things I enjoy: technology, product development, business, creativity and problem-solving.

And I want MauroNeto.com to be the place where these experiences are documented.

## Building in Public

There is another reason behind this space: documentation.

Not everything I build will succeed.

Some ideas will work. Others probably won't.

Some technologies will make sense today and disappear tomorrow.

But I believe there is value in documenting the journey.

What I learned.

What went wrong.

What worked.

The decisions I made.

And what I would do differently today.

Because often, the real value of a project isn't just the final result, but everything we learn while building it.

## A Space That Can Also Become a Product

There is another idea behind this website.

I want MauroNeto.com to be flexible enough to evolve and, eventually, become an inspiration or even a model for other people.

I imagine this concept being used by professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, creators or simply people who want to have their own space on the Internet.

A place where they can say:

**"This is who I am. This is what I do. This is what I've built."**

The Internet has made it possible to create a digital presence without depending entirely on other people's platforms.

And I believe we should take advantage of that.

## The Future

I don't know exactly where this project will go.

And honestly, that's one of the most exciting parts.

The website will evolve as I evolve.

New projects will appear. Some ideas will disappear. Others will grow.

New technologies will emerge.

And my career will continue to change.

I want MauroNeto.com to follow that journey.

Not as a static résumé, but as a **living representation of what I do, think and build**.

## Why Mauro Neto?

Because before any job title, company or project, there is a person.

And this website is about that person.

About technology.

About projects.

About ideas.

About learning.

About family, interests and life.

But above all, it's about **building**.

Building useful things.

Building experiences.

Building opportunities.

And continuing to learn along the way.

**Welcome to mauroneto.com.**
